Site policy
Disclaimer
This service is offered free of charge. That shapes what we can and cannot promise, and it is better to say so plainly than to bury it.
No fee, and therefore no contract
We do not charge for the work, take a commission, or ask for a share of anything raised. There is no engagement letter and no service-level agreement. What we offer is genuine effort on a real site, not a contractual guarantee of delivery by a particular date.
No guaranteed outcome
We cannot promise that a website will increase donations, grow a mailing list, or rank in search results. Anyone who promises you that, paid or unpaid, is guessing. What we can do is build something that works properly, loads quickly, reads well, and is findable — and be honest about the rest.
We do not speak for the organisations we build for
Where this site describes work done for another organisation, that description covers what we built. It is not a statement on their behalf, an endorsement by them of this service, or a claim to represent them. Anything about their mission, finances, or programmes should come from them directly.
We are not lawyers, accountants, or fundraising advisers
Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, or regulatory advice. Charity registration, donor-receipting rules, and fundraising compliance vary by country and are the organisation’s own responsibility. If a site we build needs a privacy policy or a donation disclosure, we will help put a sensible one in place, but it is not a substitute for professional advice in your jurisdiction.
Capacity
This is done alongside other work, so capacity is limited and we may not be able to take on every organisation that asks. If we cannot help, we will say so quickly rather than leave an application unanswered.
